THE BUSH BABY

Jackie is a 13-year-old British girl living in Kenya. She rescues a motherless bushbaby, miniature monkey, and names him Murphy who becomes her dearest friend. They bond, however, when Jackie’s family must return to England, she decides to return Murphy to the woods, his proper home. Jackie learns a lot about nature and animal rights through this experience.

Based on the novel “The Bushbabies” by William H. Stevenson
