Jackie is a 13-year-old British girl, living in Kenya. Murphy is her dearest friend. Murphy is a Bushbaby, a miniature monkey. When Jackie is told that the family must return to England, she decides to return Murphy to the woods, his proper home. Jackie learns a lot about nature and animal rights through this experience.
